A worked example of PGP
PGP is installed on Xenon, the Elaines, available for the DECs, and
many other platforms.
DECs, Xenon: /u/mogens/pgp/pgp
PCD, RS6000s: /usr/local/bin/pgp
--> /u/mogens/pgp/pgp
Elaines: ~finagler/pgp/pgp
PGP is run through a script that selects the correct binary and
does some checking on your environment and helps you install
PGPs files.
The latest PGP release 2.6 from MIT is authorised by MIT and uses
RSA's RSAREF library and is therefore
not illegal under the PKP patent. It is not legal to export it though.
