Question: How effective are hi-cites, tables, and citation sets for the task of examining and comparing an attribute’s values?
Experimental design: For each task (one training, two timed), 3 conditions (hi-cites, tables, citation sets) paired with 3 collections
Task-based questions for each condition, e.g., “How many items were published in 1995?”
14 subjects (Stanford students/staff from a variety of departments)
